Natasha's Three Peaks Challenge Page

Haines Watts Three Peaks Challenge · 1 July 2022
Myself and a team of others from Haines Watts offices around
the West Midlands are raising money for Acorns Children’s Hospice by completing the Three Peaks Challenge.
The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the
three highest peaks of Scotland, England, and Wales, within 24 hours.
Climbing the country’s three highest mountains: Mount
Snowdon (Wales, 1085m), Scafell Pike (England, 978m) and Ben Nevis (Scotland, 1345m) will be a huge effort. 23 miles of walking, 462 miles of driving and 3064 metres of ascent in just 24 hours…. but it is all for an amazing cause.
We will be supporting Acorn Children's Hospice who provide
care and support to life-limited and life-threatened children, and their
families, across the areas of Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, and Shropshire.
The dedicated team at Acorns offer psychological, emotional,
and practical support. Their team of health and social care professionals provide a range of services, including bereavement support and advocacy, as well as several dedicated support groups, helping to reduce the isolation some families can face.
Like all charities, Acorns rely on fundraising to continue
providing vital care to families, wherever they need it - whether that’s in the hospice, in the community, in family homes or providing support and a reassuring voice over the phone.
We aim to exceed any previous fund-raising targets to
support this truly amazing cause.
We will also be doing other individual events at our places
of work so watch this space
Thank you all in anticipation of your support.
