I want to give back to the charity that helped me through the most difficult time in our lives. My pregnancy was a bit of a roller-coaster, going from morning sickness to developing pre-eclampsia. My baby girl Maci, was born premature, at 28weeks and 5days weighing 2lb 7oz through emergency caesarean. It was a terrifying experience, one that I will never forget.

Maci was so little and fragile, I was scared to touch her as she had so many wires and tubes; she was a fighter though and developed quickly. After being in intensive care for 3 weeks we moved into special care, it was such a relief to know that we were nearly at the stage to take her home. And after being in hospital for 8weeks and 4days, we did just that.

We appreciate everything that everyone done. Bliss were there for us every step of the way! They work together with the Neonatal Team to improve the care premature babies receive. Bliss is an amazing charity that helped us as a family! We want to give back by helping others with a premature baby, which is why we are raising money for Bliss.
