Story

This Autumn, I will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising funds for a vital cause. Thank you in advance for supporting my huge cause.

As you all know I walked a marathon earlier this year with huge success and raised over £4500 collectively with other like minded friends and my sister gem the person that inspired us all. She has battled her fight with a rare cancer in her salivary gland. She has fought so hard since her op on the 8th September 2024 and is now coming out the other side.

From my part I wanted to give something back and since walking the marathon I then was inspired to do another challenge to encourage me and doing a half marathon was a task I knew I had to dig deep and train for, Which I have since June and have worked hard and continuously been following a training programme to get me across that finish line on 13th October 2024. I have even dragged gem out with me in one of my runs to inspire me to keep going. As you all know I like my fitness but never been a runner so this is also an accomplishment of mine to achieve. If my sister can battle for the last year her fight with cancer then I can breeze this!!! She is always my inspiration when I have down days and I’m tired and I don’t want to do that 3rd run in the week. Helping raise money to a worthy small charity salivary gland cancer uk to help them & for me to give something back for the care my sister recieved to get her where she is today is the least I can do. Let’s keep researching this shit and do our bit to help. Thank you so much and much love x wish me luck 😘
