Story
On the 14th -18th September I will be attempting to Trek up 3 peaks in Slovenia's Triglav National Park in 3 days.
The challenge involves scaling three of the highest peaks in Slovenia. Starting with Mt Tosc (2,275m) on the first day, then Mt Kanjavec (2,569m)on the second day, then finally on the last day Mt Triglav(2,864m) - twice the size of Ben Nevis!
The challenge is going to be very challenging, but I thought if I'm going to attempt something for charity it has to be something that will challenge me mentally and physically!
Included in my training I am going to be attempting the UK 3 peak challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) in 24 hours on the 11th June and I will be arranging lots of training walks in the Peaks if anyone would like to join me.
The charity provides completely Free holidays for Terminally ill, disabled or disadvantaged children. They have an amazing facility with small fully equipped flats for families, a wooded are with lots of colorful birds, a disabled friendly Park, a huge slip and slide, alpacas, donkeys, ducks, sensory rooms and a music room. They are a truly amazing charity with amazing volunteers and staff.
Please help me raise money for Children's adventure farm trust. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
