In the last few years I have watched my father-in-law - a fun, outgoing and kind man - slowly drifting away from us, and my mother-in-law becoming a full time carer to her husband. I have watched my cousin caring for her mother with dementia for the last ten years. This year I want to do more than provide practical support to members of my family affected by this cruel disease.
