Story

Hi everybody,

Crikey! Yes, well, on the 18/09/11 I will be running the Great North Run (a crazy 13 miles) to raise money for the leading charity for brain injury, Headway.

My aim is to raise awareness of how often it is an injury that goes unseen. Although often people face physical difficulties post-injury, many also, such as myself, face every day with an invisible challenge. Each day can be painful, and hard in so many ways, and nobody can tell! So I hope to help the charity that is best kitted to highlight the invisible nature of many brain injuries and hopefully help professionals as well as friends and family to become aware of these unseen consequences. I have become inspired by so many others who have carried on with life despite their unseen disabilties - so now it is time to help all who endure the same! :) Life is to be lived ... not be battled with!!

Please dig deep!
