Story
18 months ago I lost my Grandad to known heart disease. My Grandad, during his illness benefited from the services the British Heart Foundation (BHF) support/provide, for which we will be forever grateful.
However only 8 months later, my Aunty passed away in her sleep from an undiagnosed heart condition. Our family found ourselves, once again grieving, and feeling cheated we lost someone so special for too soon.
The work BHF do became much more important to me. As a family we have raised over £2500 in their memories so far and I want to continue promoting the work of the British Heart Foundation by undertaking a Challenge I have always wanted to do!
On 9th July 2016 I will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge; climbing Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours (hopefully a lot under)! I won't lie, I am petrified of what will be a physical and mental undertaking, but if I wasn't it wouldn't be a challenge right?
So if you would like to support this worthy cause, or would just like to support me in this crazy attempt, please sponsor me! Any donation would be greatly received.
You can find my training diary on my website www.heartyadventures.co.uk, if you want to follow my antics leading up to the event.
