Story

Thank you for taking the time to click on my link. I’m fundraising to go on deployment to Lebanon this September with Muslim Hands. Myself and the team will be travelling to the land of Shaam to aid Syrian and Palestinian refugees who gravely need our help due to the lands suffering from conflict and impoverishment which aids displacement.

I’m asking everyone to donate generously or even donate £2 as it all goes a long way and makes the biggest difference. Especially when you’re giving for the sake of Allah swt, may everyone be rewarded for their efforts inshallah! £1,000 is required in order to help repair shelters around the camp and £4,000 will go towards food parcels which I’ll be distributing amongst families, strangers, babies, most importantly - our brothers and sisters.

This is so important to me because if we don’t help then who will? Why are we able to sit in comfort while others have to be out there with nothing and no place to start. Speaking with Muslim Hands, I’ve been warned about the conditions that I’ll witness first-hand during my time in Lebanon and how I should consider carefully but if anything, it’s only driving me to go. I know Allah has written this for me but I also know that I need help along the way - my fundraising.

Various charities provide food for those in need during Ramadan but once Ramadan is over, people go back to having no food but Muslim Hands have been able to deploy volunteers and provide families with vital emergency relief, i.e. Food, water and weather appropriate supplies as well as helping to establish schools, medical clinics and bakeries. None of this would be possible without people contributing and making the donations that they do.

I can only hope that everyone joins me in raising my goal to help our brothers and sisters. Muslim Hands is a 100% donation policy charity hence why I’ve chosen to join them for deployment. I have to pay my own registration fee outside of fundraising in order to participate and will have quite a bit of travelling to do but to visit Lebanon, spend time with the kids, distribute food parcels to families, repair shelters that these people have no choice but to live in which massively risks their safety, to see how the world really is and how comfortable I am at home and how this world is only temporary so complete as many good deeds as possible, is why I’m asking people to donate. It’s life changing and I think we all need to remember that there’s nothing worse trading the hereafter for. Please join me in raising as much as possible and I’ll keep you all updated.

Many people know and some might not be aware but I had a major operation in April time and I was lucky to have survived. It all went well subhanallah, but I’ll never cut it close again. Good deeds are everything. Not part time good deeds here and there, better than none kind of attitude. Full time good deeds because that’s all that’ll live on for me and you if you’re reading this.

ZAKAT applicable please specify in comments box.

Any person who donated will be mentioned in my duas, may we all be rewarded for helping one another. JazakAllah

Natasha.
