The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

As many of you will know, my hair is my pride and joy, and it has never been shorter than my shoulder blades. However, I decided that after 22 years of having such beautiful hair it was probably time to do something with it to benefit others. At New Year I will be cutting about 12" off my hair to donate to this amazing charity.

The Little Princess Trust was set up to provide wigs for children who have lost their hair through illnesses such as cancer and alopecia. They give these wigs away for FREE to these children but, as they cost the charity £350 each to make, I decided it was only right to try and raise enough to pay for at least one wig.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated :)
