I personally was diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer in April 2011, at the age of 31.  I am a  mother of one, Richard Junior who is 22mths old and am happily married.  I  am currently undergoing further tests and shall be having an operation very soon.  In the meantime, I am wanting to raise money for the local charity.  This really is a good cause as 100% of monies donated, does go directly to the charity.  Please help me and others effected by cancer, donate what you can afford.  Please pass this link to all you know!!

Hey.... just an update... scans came back clear to confirm cancer not spread. although news, as expected, it has always been in glands aswel. having operation 9th may then chemotherapy to follow 2-3wks after. been told prepare for hair loss. so as I'm in control, I have had a short hair cut already in preperation!! photo to follow shortly.......

Another update.... my operation went well and the result of the operation was a success.  All the tumour has been removed, scar healing well.  It was confirmed by my surgeon the it was graded as a Stage 3, Aggresive cancer.  I had my appointment yesterday with the oncologist... I have 6mths of Chemotherapy due to start.  To follow will be 4wks of Radiotherapy (5days a week!!!) the start 1 year of herceptin via drip.  So only another 18mths or so... then all treatment is finished!!
