I have always been aware of the difficulties faced by those that suffer with epilepsy. I am aware that this can, in extreme cases, have a severely debilitating impact on the lives of those with the disease and those that support them. 

I am lucky enough to be in good health and whilst the trek I am planning to do is a great personal adventure it also presents an excellent opportunity to raise money for what I consider to be a very worthwhile cause

The more money I raise for the Epilepsy Society, the closer they will come to further developing treatments that can help manage and maybe one day eradicate this condition.
