Rowan's Hospice is an amazing local charity who cared so well for my mother-in-law, Lesley March, who sadly lost her fight to Cancer in April 2018.

During that time they supported all of our family so well.

Those of you that knew Lesley would know how hard it was for her, especially towards the end – the worst part being how she couldn’t physically play with her Grandchildren anymore. It was so hard for her, but she fought on – and that’s something I always think of, especially when I run up a certain hill (Glidden Farm - Hambledon). I think of Lesley, her determination, and it gives me determination. I have a difficult training regime to help me prepare for this but I’m certain that on the day, it will be Lesley’s fight and determination that helps me make the finish line.
