Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This is my dad, Sadly he passed away in January 2007. He was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in September 2006 and was taken from us 5 months later, it came as such a shock to us all and were all completely devastated. My dad fought hard and strong, and was so determined to beat this horrible disease like many others before him, sadly this is one battle my Dad didnt win.
Unfortunately, he didn't make it to a hospice either, (which he wanted), but made a point of making sure that any contributions at his funeral went to Marie Curie Cancer Care as he had seen firsthand the amazing care that they had given to his late Sister. The amazing work that Marie Curie Nurses do day in day out for so many people making their last days as comfortable and dignified as possible is worth supporting. So for him my aim is to carry on supporting this cause and this is why I am competing in this Devon Coast to Coast Cycle challenge. I am cycling over 2 days 100 Miles and with the determination (from my Dad), I will make it to the end. Please help me in my journey by donating as much money as you can, in order to achieve my £500.00 target. Thank You xx
