Story
Hi i am Daisy and i am 5 years old. My uncle was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 when he was 1 years old. As he began his treatment i noticed he lost all his hair including his eyebrows and eyelashes and I had lots of questions about why this was happening. My mummy explained about the medicine he had to take which made him very poorly but would eventually make him better also made his hair fall out. A couple of times i visited Alfie in hospital and I noticed little girls with no hair and told my mummy i wouldn't like it if i had no hair. My mummy then told me that some people with long hair have it cut off and sent away to make wigs which can then be given to little girls who haven't got any and this probably makes them feel very happy to have hair again. I told my mummy that I would like to make my hair into a wig but as it was quite short at the time I have had to wait for it to grow long enough which it now is and on Wednesday the 18th March I will be having it cut off and sent to make a wig. I haven't actually got a set amount of money id like to raise but every little helps and you will be helping little girls who are going through something awful to give them a little bit of happiness so if you could donate that would be great thank you xx
