I am taking on Weymouth 70.3 Ironman in September 2023 (1.2mile sea swim, 56 miles bike , 13.1 miles run) this is the biggest and most challenging event i have taken on to date. I have chosen to raise sponsorship for Macmillan in memory of an amazing lady who sadly passed away 19th May 2023. Sheila who along with her family have always treated myself and my children as their extended family which i will be eternally grateful for. Sheila was diagnosed with cancer and lost her life to it after a very short time. Sheila was always the life and soul of any party, potty mouthed and adored her family. Macmillan made a difference to the care Sheila and her family received in making her end of life the best it could possibly be.
