Women V Cancer Cycle Brazil - Group 2 · 9 October 2017 to 19 October 2017 ·
Natalie was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and knows first hand how amazing Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust is. Their information, support groups and helpline make such a difference to coping through such a bloody rubbish time. Having decided to do her bit for the charity, Natalie is now a helpline volunteer for Jo's.
But why stop there!! Fundraising is so important to Jo's, Ovarian Cancer Action and Breast Cancer Care, to allow them to continue their fantastic work. All three charities make a difference to women when they need it the most, in the face of cancer. Signing up for a gruelling challenge of cycling mile after mile for 5 days, in heat and tricky terrain will be no walk in the park, but thinking about all the women this will help will give incentive to every mile.
Training in Skye is no easy task, the weather, the hills, being on call makes it a challenge on its own!! Natalie needed support and encouragement in the challenge that lies ahead. Along came Mairi, who's utter determination and enthusiasm will make sure the training gets done and as much money as possible gets raised for such worth while causes. Mairi is as crazy as Natalie and is coming along for the whole ride. They will cycle miles together, cry when their little (in Mairi's case) legs and bums are sore and keep each other going when the going gets tough.
Help them do what what they can by donating what ever you can. It DOES make a difference to the 1000's of women diagnosed every year with breast, ovarian and cervical cancer.
Thank you so much x
