Over the last 30 years the Jubilee Sailing Trust Charity  have taken nearly 50,000 people to sea – nearly half with some sort of disability. But to make this possible they need crew members to support on all sailing trips.

I need to raise £800 to be able to take part, then the amount raised will be matched £4£ by Barclays.  This money will allow me and my buddy from a elected charity to sail for 4 days from Liverpool to Cardiff in May 2017.  

My buddy has been selected from the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust that helps Rugby players typically with severe spinal injuries caused in the game. http://www.wrct.org.uk/. 

During the four days I will serve on the ship for 20 hours a day performing a wide variety of tasks from sailing the ship, climbing the masts to working in the galley and on cleaning duties....let’s hope for calm weather! 

In total across Barclays and with the help of matched fund raising for our round Britain sailing adventure we will provide nearly 300 disadvantaged, disabled people with the opportunity of sailing with the Trust alongside myself and other members of Barclays staff in the hands of some very capable and dedicated sailing crew members.
