Story
As many people know, in January 2017 my world got turned upside down when after having an ultrasound for something else, doctors found a 5cm cancerous lump on my right kidney. After having a biopsy in February 2017 the doctors made the decision to remove my kidney as the tumor was so large and rapid growing to 8cm by the time it was removed.
In April 2017 I had major surgery to remove my kidney and on 4th May I was told it was a low stage cancer and I didn't need any further treatment, which was amazing news!! 😊. In November 2017 I had my 6 months check which was all clear! 😀
I then made the decision to return back to running and enter the Great North Run ballot, to my surprise I got in and I didn't even have to think which charity I wanted to raise money for as I knew I wanted to help Kidney Cancer UK and to also raise awareness in younger people as I was the youngest my consultant had seen.
Please can you give anything you can and help me reach my target amount and more 😀. Thank you x
