Hi I’m Natalie, Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June 2020 my gorgeous 3 year old nephew Bobby received emergency life saving brain surgery at Sheffield Children’s Hospital for a bleed on his brain. 

The care and support was second to none and Bobby’s whole family will be eternally grateful, so I am wanting to give something back to them to express the gratitude we feel towards this hospital and all their work to help and care for children and their families. 

To do this I have signed up to a virtual Lands End to John O Groats 874 mile walk. This will mean walking everyday to clock up the miles and I have until July 2021 to complete it.  

In addition, in October 2020 my beautiful 7 year old nice Eva-May became quite unwell. After a trip to the doctors she was sent to this same hospital where she was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes and her blood sugars were worryingly high. She had to stay at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital for a few days whilst they monitored her, got her blood sugars back under control and started the process of Eva-May and the family understanding her condition and how to manage it. The care she received there, like Bobby, was amazing and we are all (for a second time!) eternally grateful to the doctors nurses and staff at this amazing children’s hospital. 

Money raised through donations buys life-saving equipment, funds vital research and treatment for thousands of children. 

This is a big challenge for me and I would appreciate any donations to give to this amazing cause
