Story
About 4 weeks ago my life changes. I was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour and this is where my journey began.
The treatment that i received from the NHS at Kings in London was amazing. The skill and care of my surgeon was outstanding, where he managed to remove a large part of my frontal lobe tumour. After 8 hours in theatre, a groovy new haircut and 38 stitches later i arrived back on the ward.....starving lol. A week later i am home and already had my stitches out. In about 4-6 weeks i will start my radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
My family and my friends have shown me so much love and support and i could not wish for more beautiful people in my life, who i know will be with me on my journey.
Research into brain tumours are not so well funded as the other cancers and over the coming months, when hopefully we can become united again after Covid, I want to raise funds for this wonderful charity.
