The support cancercare has and continues to provide for our family has been incredible. They have been a beacon of light in times that have felt very dark and lonely. Their provision of differing therapies, counselling and peer groups have been an invaluable resource helping myself and my children try to cope with the anxieties, uncertainties and grief we face. To be able to give back, even just a little, to a charity which has given us so much would be incredible. I am not a fell walker, nor am I the fittest, so to tackle Scafell at night, hoping to reach the summit in time for sunrise, will be an exciting challenge.
