Baker Mallett Staff Sponsored 10k - dressed as animals!, 4 June 2021
We have been failed by the flawed criteria of the Government's £100million Zoo Fund and so, we must call on our loyal supporters once more to help us today so we can continue our vital conservation work.

Story

Baker Mallett have been working for Twycross Zoo for a number of years now.  Many members of our staff love to visit "site" and it really does bring out the wonder in all of us when we do.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Zoos have been hit particularly hard and whilst, as a business, we are endeavouring to support our client in any way we can, our staff also wanted to  show their support.  So here is our page documenting our 10k!  Dressed as animals!  Because a 10k on it's own is just too easy!

About Twycross Zoo

In the heart of conservation for over 57 years, Twycross Zoo opened to the public in the 1960s from humble beginnings. The brain child of Molly Badham and Nathalie Evans, coupled with their intense love of primates, Twycross Zoo was founded to fulfil their dream of protecting primates and set standards which were followed by zoos across the world for years to come. Little did they know back then that they'd be responsible for launching an organisation that has catapulted into one of the UK's leading science zoos. Today, Twycross Zoo is recognised across the globe for award-winning welfare, research, education and the conservation of endangered species. In  November 2020, visits to Twycross Zoo were set to generate £300,000 of much needed income which the zoo has now lost. We need fundraisers to help raise this money to ensure a better tomorrow. Believe in tomorrow, donate today to support Twycross Zoo this November.
