Story

Hi.. I am hoping to run the Chelmsford and Cambridge Half Marathons in order to raise money for music therapy in dementia.  As a music graduate from Cambridge ARU and now a teacher at Chelmsford ARU, leading a paramedic science module that includes dementia, the opportunity to fundraise was too good to miss!  I am training for the Cambridge Half Marathon but will use the Chelmsford Half Marathon as my final long run before the Cambridge one! Your donations will help us train more music therapists and researchers, buy musical instruments, and access new venues so that Together in Sound can reach many more people with dementia across the UK and potentially around the world. 100% of donations made through ARU Foundation will go toward expanding this project.
