Great North Run 2018
Campaign by Dementia UK (RCN 1039404)
This year is our biggest Great North Run team ever and we're aiming to raise more money than ever before for families affected by dementia.

Story

We are running the Great North Run in memory of our Grandad Alan who passed away on 20th February 2018. He was a wonderful man, one of the very best and brightest people. However, over the last 6 years he had been suffering from dementia. Whilst he had lived a rich and full life the last few years living with Dementia robbed him of his faculties one by one. Something which we as a family had to live through alongside him.

It is an awful disease and takes its toll on the individual and all those who love and care for them. Dementia UK are working tirelessly to make life easier on those affected all across the UK.

So if you could spare any pennies to make running this 13.1 miles easier, and donate to a great cause close to our hearts, it would be greatly appreciated.
