Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running for a great charity - The Stroke Association. A stroke is the third most common cause of death in England and Wales. Stroke's have a greater disability impact than any other chronic disease. Over 300,000 people are living with moderate to severe disabilities as a result of stroke.

I have chosen to run for The Stroke Association as my lovely Grandpa sadly suffered a severe stroke 10 years ago - sponsoring me can help towards funding research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilition, and helps stroke patients and their families. I am also running the half-marathon for my equally as lovely Grandma, who has been an inspiration looking after Grandpa and remaining so positive under very difficult circumstances.

However big or small your donation I would really appreciate your contribution.

I am not a runner and have never ran anything close to 13 miles, but I am excited to be training and raising money for such a good cause.

Thank you for your time and support - wish me luck!

Natalie xx
