Story

Colour Run sees participants run, jog or walk a 3km route along Starr Gate Beach. Along the way they'll pass through SEVEN coloured paint stations, getting covered head to toe in bright powdered paint.

Our Nan got transferred from the hospital to trinity in 2022. We was told it was end of life and to be prepared. Our Nan thought I don’t think so and beat all odds and came out stronger and she made it out of trinity and back home again.

In May 2023 she got moved from the hospital again and back to trinity and this time unfortunately couldn’t beat it and get out of there.

Trinity really looked after her and did everything to make her welcome and comfortable. All of the staff were great with all of the family too. We are so thankful for how they helped Nan and to make sure she wasn’t on her own and held her hand during her last breaths.

Natalie, Sarah, Kris and kids Natalia (8), Grace (6) and Harrison (5) will be all taking part in the colour run to help raise money.

About the charity

Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice provide specialist palliative care to adults and children across the Fylde Coast and much needed support for their families. Our services are available free of charge, but with limited government funding we need to raise over £10 million every year.
