Story
This year we are running the Bath Half Marathon in order to fundraise for Sarcoma UK.
Sarcomas are uncommon cancers that primarily affect bone and soft tissue, and there are many types.
A close friend of ours was diagnosed in July 2017 with Ewings sarcoma, which makes up 14% of all bone sarcoma. With the help of Sarcoma UK, she was able to beat it and was given the all clear in March 2018, something which we are both extremely proud of her for.
By fundraising for Sarcoma UK, we would like to not only thank them for their work and support which has helped our friend, but also help them in continuing to achieve their aims. Through raising awareness of the cancer, funding sarcoma research, and continuing to provide information and support to those who are suffering from sarcoma, patients are receiving the treatment and care that they need and survival rates are continuing to increase.
You can find out more about the charity on their website: sarcoma.org.uk
Thank you for your time to read this. We are very grateful for a donation no matter how big or small, and your support is greatly
