Outrun an Ambulance · 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2030 · Start fundraising for this event

A virtual challenge to 'outrun' the mileage covered by an ambulance on a 12 hour shift.

Story

Rather than just outrunning the average of an ambulance distance in a shift... We are aiming to complete all 702 miles that are covered by all stations on an average shift in Gloucestershire!

We are completing half of this each completing 351 miles each from 1st January finishing with the Gloucester 10km run on 31st March!

Our ambulance staff and volunteers really go the extra mile to keep us all safe during challenging times. Please support me to go the extra mile for them by taking on the 'Outrun an Ambulance' challenge. The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) provides emergency and urgent care across 10,000 square miles, serving over 5.5 million residents and over 20 million visitors each year. SWASFT crews deal with around 2,500 incidents a day across the South West. Your donations will be used to provide enhanced facilities and well-being support for crew and personnel operating from Ambulance Stations in Gloucestershire.THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
