Assalamu'alaikum, 

Alhamdulillah I have walked 5 miles for the HHUGS winter walk which took place on Sunday 23rd Feb 2020. 

During the walk we encountered cold gusts of wind and a downpour of rain which drenched us made us even more cold ❄ but alhamdulillah we knew we will only be exposed to these cold and wet conditions temporarily and that we will be able to go back to our warm homes with heating and warm blankets and beds. 

Many of our Muslim families do not have these basic winter necessities and are exposed to harsh cold conditions on a daily basis. 

This is where the HHUGS winter project comes in to help as we are fundraising for families to be able to receive funds to buy these basic winter necessities such as coats and blankets and to pay their utility bills so they can have hot water and heating in their homes. So please do donate to help towards this cause; May Allah reward you in abundance.  

Ali ibn Abi Talib said "Do not feel ashamed if the amount of charity is small because to refuse the needy is an act of greater shame.“

Uthmaan ibn Affan said" your charity is not accepted until you believe "I need the reward more than then beggar needs the money."
