We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Hi everyone,

Yes, you've read it correctly - I am running the London Marathon in October. We all know I like a bit of a challenge having ran several 10ks, obstacle courses and a few half marathons, but this is definitely going to be my biggest one yet. It's an incredible 26.2 miles or for those who work in km it's 42.2km - either way it's a ridiculously long way and it's going to be the biggest challenge I've undertaken in my 31 years of life.

So why Diabetes UK? I have several family members who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes including my Mum and Nana, as well as friends, colleagues and some students I’ve taught in the past. Diabetes UK's aim is to 'fight for a world where diabetes can do no harm' and I'm hoping with your sponsorship we can slowly help them achieve this aim.

I would truly appreciate your support - no donation is too small.

Thanks in advance,

Narelle xx
