We are running the Bath Half Marathon together in memory of Baby Lance Bignell, who very suddenly lost his very short life in February 2018.  Our friend and cousin, Caroline, (Lance's Mum) and her family's wish is to raise funds for the Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal, who are the amazing charity for Bristol Children's Hospital and the WATCh team (Wales and West Acute Transport for Children) who were fundamental in caring for Lance in his final hours.  Our wish is to show our support by doing our bit to contribute towards the fund raising.

Taking part in a half marathon is a first for us both so every step really will be worth every penny we are able to raise!  Our training has commenced and we are supporting and encouraging each other by sharing regular updates on our progress - which it's fair to say is slow and steady so far!

We need to raise a minimum of £500 between us and are so grateful for any donations received.

UPDATE 22ND MARCH 2019:..........

We did it!! So delighted to say that we completed the Bath Half Marathon in 2 hrs 25 minutes and almost a week on it still feels quite surreal for both of us. It was an amazing experience to be a part such a big event for the first time and so inspiring to be a part of the masses of people who took part to raise money for so many great causes.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped to raise the amazing amount of money on this page - we are incredibly overwhelmed and grateful for the support and generosity with have received!
