--Last year I personally raised £660, contributing to a team total of over £4,000. I ran the 10K in 1hour 26minutes, and am aiming to beat both of those targets next year! :/

My dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2011, and put up a great fight for 2 years. He was always very positive and had nothing but praise for The Christie Hospital throughout his chemotherapy treatment, and towards the end when he was often in and out of hospital.
He sadly died just before Christmas 2013 at The Christie, where they made him, and the rest of the family, very comfortable. They accomodated 9 of us in his room, and continued their support right to the end.
I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, but anyone who is unlucky enough to have it, I would want them to have the same support as my dad did at The Christie. My dad was a very generous person, and would do anything to help anyone. So I want to continue his legacy and help others suffering with this disease as much as I can.
Thank you for reading, and any donation is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Naomi.
