Walk & Talk London
Campaign by Beat (RCN 801343)
Together we will combat the stigma and secrecy surrounding eating disorders. Enjoy a relaxed stroll through the spectacular Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with new friends united by a shared vision to end pain and suffering.

Story

There's something special about the conversations we have while walking. With eating disorders being such secretive illnesses, talking helps to combat stigma and encourage understanding. We are fundraising for Beat, the UK's eating disorders charity. Please give what you can, even if it's only a couple of pounds. On Saturday 8 September we will Walk & Talk in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. With your support, we can end pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. Beat's free services are accessible 365 days a year, and thanks to donors like you, 40,000 people will benefit over the next year. Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses, affecting 1.25 million people across the UK. With the average sufferer facing a 3.5 year wait for specialist treatment, Beat's services and campaigns are vital in ensuring fewer people face their illness alone.
