Story
After having our lovely Krista earlier this year by ‘surprise’ cesarean section, recovery was slow and it took months to get moving again. Once I was back on my feet, I finally had to admit how big my butt had got... Those chocolate digestives helped me through a lot of baby-feeding times. (Definitely nothing to do with the pints of wine consumed for the previous 15 years...)
Fast forward 6 months and I’ve lost almost 4 stone and wish I’d done it years ago! What better way to celebrate than by carting my aforementioned butt 26.22 miles around London?! I’ve done it once, I can do it again, right??
Please support me in raising funds for the fantastic Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, who provide vital care to families dealing with the unthinkable situation of having a child with a terminal illness. They also provide crucial neonatal and bereavement support to families facing the devastating loss of a baby, no matter what the stage of pregnancy.
Rainbow Trust pairs each family with a dedicated expert Family Support Worker to help them face and make the most of each new day. By reaching my £2,000 London Marathon fundraising target I will have raised enough to support a family with a seriously ill child for a year.
Please help me reach my target and think of me over the next few months while you’re all toasty and I’m out training in a blizzard.
