I am incredibly passionate about the work of Cancer Research UK and this cause is truly worthwhile. When I graduate I want to be a palliative care nurse as I want to help care for those suffering from this awful illness.

I have ran the Sheffield race for life for the previous 2 years and will be doing so again this year. I will also be running the Sheffield Half Marathon, Bupa Great Yorkshire run and Climbing mount Kilimanjaro all for the amazing cause of Cancer Research UK.

Training for these events can at times be hard and frustrating but that is nothing compared to the battle patients with cancer go through every day, fighting for survival. The work of Cancer Research UK is crucial in this fight.
