I'm choosing to lose my bed for a short time (3 nights) and sleep outside in the cold to help raise money and awareness for Christians who have lost everything because of their faith in Jesus. 

Saser* (18) and Mihea* (22) from Laos had recently chosen to follow Jesus when their Christian faith was discovered. In the space of an afternoon, they lost their home and safety. People they used to call neighbours, along with the police, questioned and beat them. They were told to sign documents saying they would stop being Christian and return to the local tribal religion. But they refused. Eventually the villagers pushed them out of their house and evicted them from the area. The message was clear: if you choose Jesus, you're no longer safe here. Please sponsor me as I give up something I love to help raise money for essential aid, support and help for young Christians like Saser and Mihea.*Names changed for security reasons...

I love my bed. I love being warm. Choosing discomfort, sleeping outside my house in February, will be hard; but for Christians around the world their decision to follow Jesus means they lose out in far harder ways.  This is a small way I can use my efforts to raise support and prayer for them - thanks for all your help!
