Bupa Great Manchester Run 2014 · 18 May 2014 ·

We provide emotional and practical support to families with a seriously ill child.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and supporting me on this challenge.

The Rainbow Trust do amazing work with families and this is my small contribution in supporting the incredible work they do.

Running this 10k is quite a challenge for me but not as challenging as the lives of children who have life threatening or life shortening conditions. Please sponsor me to help me raise as much money as possible to help the Rainbow Trust continue their work  and one day enable them to offer all terminally ill children and their families access to a Rainbow Trust Family Support Worker.

Every little bit counts so please help me reach (or exceed!) my target of £100. Even if you can only spare a pound - that £1 will still make a difference.

And last but not least my inspiration for doing this 10k is Dayna Clark and her wonderful mum Rhona and, of course Matt. Dayna died at just 11 years old in 2008 of an inoperable brainstem tumour. I think of her often.
