Drought drives people to the brink. Storms tear families apart. Raging waters show no mercy. In Kenya the climate crisis has made weather more extreme, whether long drought or relentless rainstorms. Join us this Christian Aid Week (10th -16th) May!

Story

Yn ystod Wythnos Cymorth Cristnogol eleni, fe fyddaf yn ymuno yn yr her genedlaethol sydd wedi ei gosod gan Cymorth Cristnogol, sef Her y 300,000 cam dros mis Mai.  Ond…… mae dwy ohonom, sef Anna Jane Evans a minnau wedi penderfynu cerdded ein camau i gyd yn ystod yr wythnos yn hytrach nac yn ystod y mis. Mae cyfle i unrhyw un ein noddi, gyda'r Wythnos yn canolbwyntio eleni ar effeithiau newid hinsawdd ac yn dwyn enghreifftiau o Kenya, fe wnaiff eich cyfraniadau wahaniaeth enfawr i'r rhai hynny sy’n brwydro yn erbyn effeithiau newid hinsawdd, yng Nghenia a led led y byd heddiw.  Gyda’n gilydd felly fe allwn gyd sefyll dros urddas, dros gydraddoldeb a thros gyfiawnder yn ein byd. Diolch y fawr.

During Christian Aid's week this year I will be joining with many others for the 300,000 step challange. But two of us, Anna Jane Evans and myself have decided to walk all our steps during the week rather than the month. There is an opportunity for any one to sponsor us, with the Week focusing on the effects of climate change, drawing examples from Kenya, your contributions will make a huge diference to those struggling with the effects of Climate Change in Kenya, and all over our world today. Together we can stand together for dignity, for equality and for justice. Thank you very much.
