So finally we did it, but unfortunately we were unable to celebrate it with you. Some of our friends are still missing or in detention, and others have been killed. Due to what’s happening in our country, we decided not to have a wedding, just a small farewell family dinner. This definitely do not mean that we are not expecting wedding gifts from you :)

We already donated the money that we saved by not doing a big wedding to Mosaic schools project inside Syria "10,000$". We would love you to join us and instead of giving us a gift, it would be great if you could donate to our cause.

This fundraising will cover four schools, in Tal Kalakh, Kafranbel, Jdideh and Zabadani. The schools will enable approximately of 1000 students to continue their studies, with the funds we raise going towards the salaries of teachers and employees, basic renovation of school buildings, heating, generators, stationary, books and work materials.

We need approximately $1000 / month for each school.

وأخيرا تجوزنا، بس للأسف ما قدرنا نحتفل معكن، كل منا صار بمكان، بعض من أصدقائنا لسا بالمعتقل والبعض الآخر قتل. وبسبب الأوضاع في البلد قررنا نلغي فكرة العرس ونكتفي بعشاء- وداع عائلي صغير. ولكن هذا لا يعني اننا لن ننتظر منكم الهدايا والتبريكات  ☺

من طرفنا تبرعنا بالمبلغ الذي وفرناها من الغاء العرس (10000$) لمشروع المدارس في موزاييك ونتمنى منكم أن تشاركونا المشروع وتتبرعوا بقيمة الهدايا لدعم هذا المشروع.

مشروع جمع التبرعات هذا يهدف إلى تغطية مصاريف أربع مدارس (تل كلخ، كفرنبل، جدبدة والزبداني) وهذه المدارس سوف تضمن تعليم حوالي 1000 طالب خلال العام الدراسي القادم. هذه التبرعات سوف تغطي (معاشات المدرسين، إصلاحات أساسية للمدارس، تدفئة، مولدات الكهرباء، الكتب)
