Story
Assalāmu’alaykum w rahmatullāhi w barakātuh.
We pray you are in the best of health and emān. As many of you may know, for the last 10 years, Hafs Academy has been running in a rented property. With the rapid growth of the number of students and services we have been facilitating over the past few years, the space in the building has become very limited and we wish to expand as well as open a masjid alongside the school, to serve as a hub for the whole community. We have now decided to purchase the above building as a masjid to use as a school as well as a mosque.
The large space and capacity that this building will provide, will enable us to facilitate many more religious services for the community, alongside Islamic and academic education. It will be a masjid for us all In shā’ Allah.
The building is based in Woodford Green, it is 8,410 SQ FT, and costs over £3m.
In order to do this, we would massively appreciate your generous help.
Before the 2nd of August, we need to place a bid for the building. A £500,000 is required in our account before this date in order to qualify for the bidding.
This act of generosity on your part today could very well be your means on securing your place in Jannah tomorrow.
The Prophet ﷺ, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 450, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 533]
As well as this, to build a masjid is an everlasting source of reward because it is a good deed which will never cease to exist, as you will continue to reap the rewards of whatever Khayr is produced in the masjid until the end of time, even after you’ve passed away.
Please consider donating as much or as little as you can towards this noble cause. Any amount will be hugely appreciated. We only have 11 days until the bidding, so please help with your generous donations to the account details below.
