As-salaamu alaykum everyone. My name is Nafisah. Inshallah this Ramadhan, I will be raising money for Human Appeal, for a deep water well in drought hit communities in Pakistan in the name of my beloved grandfather, Haji Mohammad Suleman who sadly passed on November 18th 2020, as Sadaqah Jariyah. 

Give the gift of clean water

A staggering 2.2 billion people don’t have access to clean drinking water. That’s one in three of all people on the planet.

When a family has access to clean water, it changes everything. Women who had to spend their days walking miles now have the time to earn an income or plant vegetables to feed their families. The children who accompanied them can now attend school. The health of every family in the community is improved, and they no longer have to worry about thirst, waterborne disease, or crops or livestock dying.

£70 will provide 25 people at risk of dehydration in Yemen with fresh, clean drinking water.

£100 will help us to provide clean water, latrines, and a water system for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

£800 will provide a whole community in drought-hit communities with a deep water well, and clean water for years to come (Pakistan/Bangladesh).
