WellWater's School Walk Challenge aims to raise £60K to go towards our sustainable School Project in Koma Hills, Nigeria, changing over 25,000 children lives.

Story

WellWater's School Walk Challenge aims to raise £60K to build a sustainable School in Koma Hills, Nigeria, changing over 25,000 children lives. In rural Nigeria poverty is an underlying factor as a whole, people living in rural areas live below a dollar daily. The sight of educational facilities is disheartening. From broken classroom walls to opened roofs, damaged chalkboards, lack of infrastructure which the majority of rural schools are poorly built; the educational plight in Koma Hills calls for immediate response. Each day in Koma Hills, children walk on average 6km to get to school. This is approximately 1600km in a school year!. Education is the most powerful tool to reduce poverty, insecurity, child labour and ensuring peace. With your donation, you are gifting these children with the school they need to have a better future and to make their dreams come true. Every step we take ensures that education gets to the doorstep of every child in Koma Hills.
