A year supply of food for a child

As-salamu alaykum, (Peace be unto you).
Hi,
In Islam, Muslims believe in giving and helping each other especially those who are less fortunate. Zakat is the third pillar of Islam, Muslims are taught from the Quran and the Hadith that we should help everyone, and if we can afford to share our good wealth with the poor.
A friend sent me a website which you could donate £0.35 to feed a child for a day. This truly amazed me how little you can give but achieve so much from your small gift.
Just £0.35 a day can feed a child. How much do you spend on a meal?
Please with your help I want to be able to feed a child for a whole year. A whole year without worry or fear. Imagine the relief the parents would feel. Or does the child have any parents to provide them the essentials?
Donating just £1.00 could feed two children. Share your warmth, and wealth with the needy.
Please share so others can donate too. Thank you for your donations.
