I've been part of the London Longsword Academy for 4+ years and I have earned the right to challenge for my scholarship. This will be an hour long bout without rest against the scholars of the club. 

Through undertaking this challenge I would like to raise money for Cancer research UK. Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. 

There are around 375,000 new cancer cases in the UK every year and unfortunately it is a fact of life that we are all likely to know someone affected by cancer, if not have it be a friend or family member. Cancer research UK does great work in conducting research into and discovering methods of preventing, managing and treating cancer.
