Story
On Sunday 3rd October 2021, I will be running the London Marathon with thousands of other runners through the streets of our capital city. I am fundraising for Children with Cancer UK.
I first started running in 2019 in order to keep my health in check and lose some weight, completing many half marathons with the goal of running the 2020 London Marathon. However, after sustaining an ankle injury last year which put me out of action for a while, I am back this year to run the 2021 London Marathon for a great cause!
Training for this marathon has been a tough journey with many lonely runs but with your support and knowing that what I am doing is going to make a difference will help me get to that finishing line.
More than 12 children are diagnosed with cancer everyday in the UK and the impact it has on their families and loved ones is massive. Every one of us is affected by cancer and we can all do something to help - find out more about their research and family support at https://www.childrenwithcancer.org.uk.
Please donate what you can and support me on my journey to London.
