Story
Hi there,
My name is Milli and on Saturday the 17th of September 2022 I will be Jumping and falling from an aircraft 12,000 feet above Peterborough doing a tandem skydive!
I have chosen to do this specifically for the charity CPSL Mind as they do vital life-saving and life-changing work. Mental Health affects us all just to varying degrees, it's subjective to the individual.
Mind assure you receive the support you deserve and need through such measures as "Safe Spaces" and Skill groups to learn how to cope better.
Personally, I have a lengthy history of poor mental health but am finally progressing on the long, bumpy road to recovery! However, this wouldn't have been possible without the support of Charities such as Mind. Batteling with your own mind is one of the hardest and scariest things, just know that you are not alone and there is support available.
Sky Diving Signifies a lot for me, from breaking free from my own mind and showing myself how amazing life can truly be, whilst also facing a fear and ticking something off my bucket list ( which I never thought would be possible) and starting living life to the fullest.
Thank you for all your love and support, And although times are rough financially, I urge you to donate what you can to this amazing cause to help save and change lives.
By raising funds for CPSL Mind, you are supporting us to help local people in their recovery from a wide range of mental health challenges and promote positive mental health in our community. Our services have a very real impact on the lives of local people, organisations and community groups. We promote positive wellbeing, challenge stigma and form connections at the heart of our communities.
