When my son was born 19 years ago, it was the proudest day of my life and he has always been the most special thing in it.  He is a fine young man - handsome, well-mannered, intelligent, witty and courageous.  He loves his country and is prepared to die for it. I can't look after him and protect him in the way I did when he was small so now I look for other ways to do it.  I pray that he will never need the help of the "Help for Heroes" charity, but many other mother's sons already do, so I ask you to help me raise as much money as we can for the people who do so much and are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice in their line of work.
