I have agreed to take on  not one, not two but three mighty challenges in support of a young girl (3) Charlotte who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and with the support of the fantastic Tree of Hope Children’s Charity and your donations will be able to have a SDR (selective dorsal rhizotomy) operation to improve Charlotte's life and give her the chance to walk unaided.

Challenge 1 - Complete. The infamous SAS and SBS selection course which even to this day is used to test our Special Forces recruits.  It involved a 24km course which took us over the highest point in the Brecon Beacons (twice), including the steep and painful climb of  Jacob's ladder.

Challenge 2 - 12th October - Tandem skydive at Palm Drop Zone....Dubai!!!

Challenge 3 - My third challenge will be trekking in Borneo in November, which will include climbing Mount Kinabalu - at 4095m it falls under the "very high altitude" category, putting me at risk of headache, dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, nausea, disturbed sleep....you get the picture!

Every penny I raise will go directly to the charity in support of Charlotte.
