Thyroid Cancer affects many women from their thirties onwards, but is rarely talked about.

I was diagnosed with papillary Thyroid Cancer in the summer of 2017 and urgently underwent major surgery for a thyroidectomy and left hand neck disection.

After two years I am now fully recovered, and adult ballet helped me through that tough time, providing me with a routine, fitness, and the company and support of lovely ladies.

Having since started Bella Barre, a company selling dancewear for those enjoying adult ballet, I would like to help increase awareness for the wonderfull Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust Charity that helps those patients with thyroid cancer.
