Story

The Charity celebrates its 20th anniversary on the 1st of March and to acknowledge the milestone Wales Air Ambulance has created a new fundraising event called My20.

We are a group of friends who are all members of the Pembrey & Burry Port WI.  When we heard about the My20 Challenge to support the Wales Air Ambulance we all jumped at the chance to do something positive.

Lockdown has been difficult for everyone who is used to keeping busy and being productive.  Our personal challenges will focus on our well-being, keeping our minds and bodies active.

We are going for the "mix and match" approach and intend to do
at least 3 x 20 minutes every day of various activities such as dancing,
singing, yoga, reading, being outside, doing something creative and trying a new skill.

About the charity

The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.
